What's Floating My Boat
June 19, 2006

Trying to get back in the swing of things after yet another long layoff. I'm going to start by laying out a few songs that are in my constant rotation as well as some shows that I want to catch over the summer.

CMT Makes Me GAC
January 21, 2006

For the past few months I have been taping On The Edge Of Country on GAC (Great American Country). At the outset I was excited to see some videos from the music that I actually like and not just Toby Keith threatening to putting a boot in my ass and/or Big & Rich proving Houston Marchman so, so right (son you gotta write for an 8th grade level divorced housewife in Nashville). Another almost felt like attending a raucous church assembly. And the one that clocks in at #1 had more than a touch of fate involved in my being there. I'll start from the bottom and work to the top over several posts. Here we go...

In The Beginning...
Jan. 29, 2005

Texasbound.net has been around in one form or another for almost five years now. Granted in the last two years there really has been nothing done to the site due to the fact that my money requiring life got in the way, but I digress. So here is a brief rundown of how things got started and an introduction to the new form Texasbound.net is taking on, bloggness.
